Primary Electric & Design was founded in 2011 by Master Electricians Ken Nass and Darek Merrill. After spending many years gaining experience in the electrical trade, the two decided it was time to build a company of their own that focuses on quality workmanship, reliability, and serving the Yakima Valley community.
With strong local roots and decades of combined experience, Ken and Darek set out to create a company customers could trust. From the beginning, their goal has been simple: provide dependable electrical services, do the job right the first time, and build lasting relationships with the people and businesses they serve.
Today, Primary Electric & Design continues to grow while staying true to the same values it was founded on—hard work, honesty, and pride in every project.
